Polygraphs
Every competitor will take a polygraph examination set by appointment only. Appointments are by call/ text 1 week prior to show date.
The $80 fee for the polygraph must be paid in cash on the day of the test.
Polygraph testing will be on Thursday, September 11th & Friday, September 12th at Impact Fitness Gym.
Testing is good for 6 weeks for Amateurs. Open and overall winners will be urine tested. Promoters have the discretion to ask any competitor to submit a urine specimen without notice.
Tanning
All rub on oil based or messy tanning solutions are not permitted. If our staff see such products on your skin, you will be asked to remove it or you will not be allowed to compete. These rules are out of our hands and implemented by venue management.
All athletes are encouraged to purchase tanning services with Mystic Sol. Only the licensed tanning company is permitted on site at The Sands of Strength.
Spray tans will be by appointment only on Friday at the host hotel, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Gulf Shores by IHG ($20 fee for missed appointments). Top coat will be applied at the event venue on show day. Competitors will be sprayed on Saturday in the order that they will go on stage.
Photo packages
Photo packages can be purchased during check-in for $125 (cash only). A USB with images from the event will be mailed to your address as listed on your registration form.
Media release consent
I, the undersigned, hereby grant Sands of Strength, Island Tan/Mystic Sol, Impact Fitness, Ken Hayes Photography and the WNBF Federation (collectively referred to as “the Company”), and its representatives, the right and permission to capture and use photographs and/or video recordings of me for promotional, marketing, advertising, and educational purposes.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
- Company websites and digital content
- Print marketing materials (e.g., flyers, brochures, banners)
- Event promotions, advertising, and online campaigns
I understand and agree that:
These images and videos may be edited, published, reproduced, and distributed publicly. I will not receive any financial compensation for the use of these materials. My identity may be disclosed in captions, commentary, or related descriptions. I release the Company and all persons acting under its authority from any and all liability that may arise from the use of such media, including claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, or copyright infringement.
