Junior Division
For Young Athletes Ages 20-23 Amateur Division
The Junior Division is designed specifically for young athletes aged 20 to 23 who are ready to compete on a natural stage. Whether this is your first competition or you’ve competed before, this division gives younger competitors the chance to shine alongside their peers.
Like all amateur divisions, the Junior category requires WNBF amateur registration and strict adherence to the drug-free standards upheld by WNBF.
Who can compete?
The Junior Division is open to amateur athletes aged 20 to 23 on the day of the show. Whether you’re still in college or freshly entering the adult bodybuilding scene, this is your category.
Requirements:
- Must be 20–23 years old
- Register as a WNBF Amateur competitor
- Must comply with all WNBF rules and guidelines
- Pass a required polygraph test

Can I Compete in More Than One Division?
Yes! You can crossover between divisions and categories if you meet the eligibility for each.
Do I Have to Take a Polygraph?
Yes. The WNBF requires all amateur competitors to pass a comprehensive polygraph exam prior to show day. This test confirms you are competing 100% drug-free and meet the federation’s integrity standards.
- Polygraph tests are valid for 6 weeks
- If tested for another WNBF show recently, let us know — we’ll confirm it with the WNBF
- Testing is scheduled in advance and conducted by certified professionals
Registration
To compete in the Junior Division, here’s what you need to do:
- Register as a WNBF amateur
- Complete the registration form
- Submit payment for your division(s)
- Book your polygraph appointment
