Open Division
The Most Competitive Division in Natural Bodybuilding
The Open Division is where top amateur athletes come to compete for prestige — and the opportunity to earn a WNBF Pro Card. Whether you’re seasoned or just ready to make a serious run, the Open stage is where it all counts.
This is an amateur division but has no restrictions based on age or experience. All athletes must hold an active WNBF amateur membership to participate.
Top placement in the Open Division could earn you a WNBF Pro Card — granting access to exclusive Pro competitions and cash-prize events worldwide.

Can I Compete in More Than One Division?
Yes! Yes! Crossovers between divisions and categories are allowed, as long as you meet the eligibility criteria.
For WNBF Pro Qualifying events, athletes may enter Open OR Novice, NOT BOTH. Crossovers may occur between an age division and Open or Novice, or between categories such as Figure & Fit Body, or Men’s Physique and Bodybuilding.
Do I Have to Take a Polygraph?
Yes. The WNBF requires all amateur competitors to pass a comprehensive polygraph exam prior to show day. This test confirms you are competing 100% drug-free and meet the federation’s integrity standards.
- Polygraph tests are valid for 6 weeks
- If tested for another WNBF show recently, let us know — we’ll confirm it with the WNBF
- Testing is scheduled in advance and conducted by certified professionals
